Within the last few years SCN2A has been discovered as one of the genes associated with Autism, epilepsy, and other serious neurodevelopmental disorders. FACES (Finding A Cure For Epilepsy & Seizures) and NYU Langone Health are working to treat this debilitating disorder through new approaches in gene editing.
We have seen first hand the debilitating affects of this genetic disorder in our twin sons, and how current therapeutic treatments are powerless to help. We hope, with your support, FACES/NYU Langone Health will be able to provide an effective treatment by eliminating the cause of the issue at the source.
