Our family, like many others, has been deeply touched and affected by cancer. Our dad, J. Kevin Kenny, fought cancer constantly throughout his life (3 completely different types—brain apendemoma, lung cancer and prostate cancer). Each one required full surgeries and extensive treatment hereafter. Day in and day out, he fought valiantly, always punching back with his courageous spirit, and never give up attitude.  He never wanted to give up his fight, which lasted 20 plus years, and the cancer didn’t fight fair.  Through all this time he never complained once.  He so dearly loved his family. He so dearly loved life and he was taken too soon. Now, we can think of no better gift to our dad, than to keep his legacy alive by fighting to beat cancer. We want to be able to help fund programs for earlier detection. We want to help those patients and families currently in their battle against cancer, especially children. Every day, 43 children are diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. and 1 in 6 will not survive. This is tragic.

With your support, we will continue his fight and make a difference. We will forge forward with Kevin’s same valiant spirit and courage and succeed in the promise of new treatments, the goal of earlier detection and ultimately, finding cures for families facing and living with this hideous and devastating disease.
