SSHS Sisters in Memory of Sheila {Judge } Connors
SSHS Class of 1984 has created this page as a lasting legacy for our sister, Sheila. Organ donation is a cause that was very close to her heart—literally! Sheila was the recipient of a transplant 5+ years ago through NYU Langone's Heart and Lung Transplant Program, which continues driving breakthroughs in medicine and supporting world-class care at NYU Langone Health in NYC. Whenever we spoke about it, she could not say enough wonderful things about this program and the doctors and staff who are an integral part of its success.
Sheila was a brave warrior who faced every challenge with a smile and an infectious dose of positivity. Sadly, she lost her long fought battle to pulmonary hypertension on July 23, 2025. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.
