This year I’m running the 2026 NYC Marathon to raise money for the NYU Perlmutter Cancer Center — a place that became incredibly important to my fiancée, Brittany, and I this past year. Brittany was treated there for thyroid cancer, and the care she received was compassionate, thoughtful, and truly exceptional.I previously ran the 2024 NYC Marathon just for the experience and challenge of it, but this year the race carries a deeper meaning. I’m currently a 4th year psychiatry resident at NYU, and both personally and professionally I’ve seen how much moments of good care matter. Running this marathon is my way of giving back to the people and institution that helped us through a difficult time. Thank you for supporting this cause and helping advance the care and research that impacts so many lives.
