I am thrilled to be running the 2025 NYC Marathon as part of TeamFACES, for the second year in a row!

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and the Director of Adult Epilepsy Surgery. 

I have seen firsthand the work that FACES does to support our patients. As just one example, many of my patients who undergo surgery come from far outside of the city to receive their care, and their loved ones need a place to stay during their hospital stay - which for certain types of epilepsy surgery can be weeks at a time. FACES supports our patients' caregivers and loved ones by providing rooms in the city for this time.  

This organization does this and so much more, from scholarships for our awesome patients who have overcome so much, to supporting research to better understand and treat this condition. Especially at a time when funding for research and scholarship is increasingly difficult to secure, organizations like this are even more important.

I am so excited to run for this awesome cause again this year. With every patient I see, and surgery I perform, my goal is to help ease the burden of living with epilepsy. By supporting FACES, and with the help of your donation, we can do the same.
