I was diagnosed with epilepsy in 2015. Ever since then, all of my family has been committed to giving back to FACES. I would like to make a personal commitment to giving back to FACES by running the 2025 New York City Marathon. There are two things that I would hope to accomplish by being a member of the FACES team. One, I would actively engage with people of my generation by educating them regarding how common epilepsy is and how debilitating the condition can be. I would also like to use this opportunity to raise as much money as I possible can by engaging with both my friends across the country as well as my parents' friends who have learned about epilepsy and FACES from them. In addition, I would very much like to be the second person in my family, following in the footsteps of my sister Katie Walker, who has run the New York City Marathon for FACES. Join me in bringing hope to our communities. Your generosity will make a lasting difference in the lives of countless patients and their families.Together, we’re transforming health for all. Thank you!
