I am thrilled to be running the 2024 NYC Marathon as part of TeamFACES!

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, where I joined the faculty just over one year ago. Since that time, I have taken over as the Director of Adult Epilepsy Surgery. 

I have seen firsthand the work that FACES does to support our patients. For example, many of my patients who undergo surgery come from far outside of the city to receive their care, and their loved ones need a place to stay during their hospital stay - which for certain types of epilepsy surgery can be weeks at a time. FACES supports our patients' caregivers and loved ones by providing rooms in the city for this time.  

This organization does this and so much more, from scholarships for our awesome patients who have overcome so much, to supporting research to better understand and treat this condition. 

I am so excited to run for this awesome cause. With every patient I see, and surgery I perform, my goal is to help ease the burden of living with epilepsy. By running for FACES, and with the help of your donation, we can do the same.
