After having previously run 5 NYC marathons, it is a privilege to run my last NYC marathon as a member of the FACES (Finding A Cure for Epilepsy and Seizures) team. As a pediatric physical therapist, I have seen firsthand the impact that seizure disorders and epilepsy can have on the children I treat as well as their families. This is why I have chosen to fundraise for this incredibly worthwhile foundation, to raise awareness about seizures and epilepsy and to help provide funding to further the foundation’s very important research.

On Sunday, November 5, 2023, TeamFACES will be represented by 10 athletes that will run in this year's TCS NYC Marathon to spread epilepsy awareness and raise funds in support of FACES mission: To improve the quality of life for all those affected by epilepsy and seizures with the hope of finding a cure.
