On May 31st, 2025, our two year-old son, Luca Capece, suddenly passed away. There were no warning signs, no explanation for how a perfectly happy, healthy child could just stop breathing. Though he was with us for only two short years, he filled our hearts with endless love, joy, and unforgettable moments. 

Luca's passing is categorized as SUDC — Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood. Please join us in supporting NYU's SUDCRRC to better understand and prevent these tragedies.
