In 2023, Mark received the extraordinary gift of a double lung transplant. He met this true miracle with unmatched determination and grit, and his recovery was nothing short of remarkable. The transplant gave Mark three precious additional years—time that allowed him to create more memories with those he loved, strengthen family bonds, and fulfill a long-awaited bucket list trip to Ireland. His family will forever be grateful for this gift of time, and for the donor and donor family whose selflessness made it possible.
